DO YOU WANT TO PLAY?

Our Association provides competitive and social netball opportunities for all participants who want to play! All abilities and levels of skill welcomed to play. New players are encouraged to contact one of our Member Club where you will be placed within a team appropriate to your age and skills to further improve your development. We welcome girls, boys, women, men of all diversity to our game.

Want to create your own team, you can do this by contacting portstephensnetball@bigpond.com to register as an independent netball club (this is where you have one team only).

DO YOU WANT TO HELP?

We have a variety of volunteer positions available to help us run our Association. Our Annual General Meeting is held on the second Wednesday evening in March each year. There are both Executive Committee and Sub Committee positions each year, it is the workforce of our volunteers which provides the environment for netball participation at our courts each week.

Umpiring

Netball wouldn’t run without them – and we are always on the look out for umpires at all levels! To enquire about umpiring opportunities and development pathways, please contact us at portstephensnetball@bigpond.com

Coaching

Are you keen to provide guidance and development for netballers or all ages? Coaching is an extremely rewarding job and if you are looking to get involved with netball this is a great option! Our member clubs listed above need you to be part of their teams. 

Want to represent Port Stephens Netball Association?

We offer representative netball options for athletes, coaches, team managers and umpires. Providing them with pathways to a higher level of competition. 

Representative netball offers the following age divisions for girls and ladies  and now boys and men too. 

Development Squads

  • 11 years development (does not attend State Titles)

Junior State Titles (held in the July school holidays) 

  • 12 years team 

  • 13 years team

  • 14 years team 

Senior State Titles  (held the June long weekend)

  • 15 years team 

  • 17 years team

  • Opens 

Masters (held in October) 

  • Masters (aged 35 years and older)

Volunteering
 

Volunteering is a great way to assist your Member Club or our Association in a variety of roles for the betterment of netball at Port Stephens Netball Association.
