Port Stephens Netball Association (PSNA) is set for an exhilarating second half of the 2025 season, featuring a series of events that celebrate culture, community, and the sport of netball.


🌟 All Abilities Netball Program – Term 3 Registrations Open

Registrations are now open for the Term 3 All Abilities Netball Program, offering individuals of all abilities the chance to participate in netball in a supportive and inclusive environment.



 When: Saturdays, 26 July – 30 August 2025

 Time: 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM

 Where: Court 1, Raymond Terrace Netball Courts

 Cost: FREE


A wonderful opportunity for ‘all abilities’ sportspeople of all ages and ability to learn how to play netball, make new friends and be part of a vibrant and supportive sporting community.

🖤 Indigenous Round – Saturday, 19 July

PSNA will host its 2nd Annual Indigenous Round at the Raymond Terrace courts, commencing with a smoking ceremony at 8:30am by local Elder Justin Ridgeway.


The event aims to honour and showcase the rich traditions of the Worimi people, on whose land we play. Indigenous stallholders will present traditional and contemporary artworks, cultural activities, and health and wellbeing services including:


  • Midnight Dreaming

  • Koori Colours Art Gallery

  • Precision Body Method

  • Warlga Ngurra

  • First Peoples Disability Network

  • YAMHS NSW Health

  • Hunter River High School



🏐 Junior Carnival – Sunday, 20 July

The annual Junior Carnival will bring together 40 netball teams across NetSetGo, junior girls, for a day of spirited competition. This event fosters inclusivity, and fun providing young athletes with an opportunity to engage in netball.


If any of our amazing netball volunteers have an hour or two to give, we would love to see you lending a helping hand,


🏫 Netball NSW Schools Cup – Thursday, 31 July

PSNA will welcome Netball NSW back to the courts for the Schools Cup, featuring hundreds of Year 5 and 6 students competing in a day of netball action. This initiative offers school-aged participants an elevated netball experience through thoughtfully designed activations and gameplay.



🌟 Susan Pettitt Clinics – Tuesday, 12 August

Former Australian Diamond Susan Pettitt will return to PSNA to conduct two exclusive clinics:


  • Skills Clinic: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM for ages 6–13

  • Shooting Clinic: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM for ages 9+


These sessions offer participants the chance to learn from a world-class shooter with 71 Test caps and a 2007 World Championship gold medal.

☔ Wet Weather Rounds – 10 & 24 August

Designated as make-up days for earlier postponed matches, these rounds ensure teams have the opportunity to complete their fixtures and maintain competitive balance.


🧠 Mental Health & Wellbeing Round – Saturday, 16 August

PSNA will host its annual Mental Health & Wellbeing Round, aiming to raise awareness and support for mental wellness.


The day includes community stall holders, engaging activities, and an online raffle, with proceeds benefiting local organisations such as Talk2MeBro and Jupiter Australia.


There are 12 fantastic prize packs up for grabs, totalling nearly $6,000 in value.


First prize alone includes $1,000 in cash and tickets to a 2026 NSW Swifts home game.

🏆 Finals Series – September

The season culminates in a thrilling three-week finals series, where top teams across all divisions compete for the championship titles. This period showcases the best of netball talent within the association.


🖤 Koori Carnival – Sunday, 14 September

PSNA will host the Koori Carnival, a family-friendly event celebrating Indigenous culture within the sport.


The day features a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, and matches across various age divisions, promoting inclusivity and cultural appreciation.

📣 Looking Ahead: 2026 Representative Team Selections

PSNA will soon announce details regarding the selection process for the 2026 Representative Teams, seeking the next group of athletes, coaches, and team managers to represent the association in the upcoming season.
